hey guys ive just read this on our facebook page so i thought i would share it on here :-

Douglass Motors is in Wolston near Coventry and specialise in 4x4's.
Well over the last few weeks i've spent a fair bit of money in there on bits and bobs witch included a snorkel for my Defender 90 (92). I fitted all the other bits and bobs but didnt have much luck with the snorkel so i asked if they could fit it. I booked it in for today and dropped it off last night. Now i'd already asked a local garage (Andy's Landy's) for a price to fit it and he said £50-60 tops as all my air intaje is already piped up to the wing.
But as i'd spent a bit with them and bought it from them i asked Douglass motors to do the job. I asked how much when i booked, again when i dropped the car off and then called today to ask how much. They said they could say yet till it was done. But i thought it cant be much more then Andy's Landy's anyway. While it was there i asked then to change a brake pipe on the o/s caliper and bleed them up, as well as fit a end cap on the hald shaft.
I then got the call today to say its ready and comes to a total of £273
They said £40 for the brake pipe and bleed up, so that leaves £233 to fit a snorkel and a end cap???

Well i went down and in not so many words was told to pay up or i'm not having my car back. I paid £178 in the end (i'm not a small or shy lad) and want happy about paying that.
I will NOT be going back there again, i'd advise you not to either
